I usually say "Art saves" what I mean is that everything we do with the heart is impregnated with art. You can be sure that what you do from your inner self transcends beyond what it represents, the energy that it carries implicitly infects, impresses, cheers and makes the perfectible possible without having to do anything about it.

Our lives are full of those moments where we give of our own selflessly just for the fact that we like what we do.

The sum of these moments will enrich and give substance to our life on another level. Being aware of it, of our abilities and weaknesses, of our knowledge and the lack of it in countless aspects of our existence allows us to be honest with ourselves and gives us light on what we really want and perceive as important.

As artists we are obliged to be open and tolerant, to be sensitive and firm in our purposes, and to take things with appreciation and a good sense of humor. I laugh many times at what I think and I am not always right, but I like what I do and I do it with a happy heart, an attitude that has allowed me to travel this long path of the art world where situations are not totally clear or dark but full of shades and colors, like life itself.

No todo es sobre arte, pero el arte se vincula a todo.

Suelo decir "El arte salva" a lo que me refiero es que todo aquello que hacemos con el corazón esta impregnado de arte. Puedes estar seguro de que lo que hagas desde tu interior trasciende mas allá de lo que representa, la energía que lleva implícita contagia, impresiona, alegra y hace posible lo perfectible sin tener que hacer hincapié en ello.

Nuestras vidas estan llenas de esos momentos donde damos de lo nuestro desinteresadamente solo por el hecho de que nos gusta lo que hacemos. La suma de esos momentos enriquecen y dan sustancia a nuestra vida en otro nivel. Tomar conciencia de ello, de nuestras habilidades y debilidades, de nuestro conocimiento y la falta de ello en innumerables aspectos de nuestra existencia nos permite ser honestos con nosotros mismos y nos da luz sobre lo que realmente queremos y percibimos como importante.

Como artistas estamos obligados a ser permeables y tolerantes, ser sensibles y firmes en nuestros propósitos y tomar las cosas con agradecimiento y buen sentido del humor. Me rio muchas veces de lo que pienso y no siempre tengo la razón, pero me gusta lo que hago y lo hago con el corazón alegre, actitud que me ha permitido transitar este largo camino del mundo del arte donde las situaciones no son totalmente claras ni oscuras sino llenas de matices y colores, como la vida misma.
